Mygoh creates books and resources that help to make learning more accessible and simpler so that children can build confidence in their learning abilities. In a world where there are many expectations of what someone should be doing at a certain age and by a certain age, the methodology and thinking behind the creation of products and resources is to help to take away the concept of age barriers and what should be learnt at a certain age in order to allow children, whether they are ahead, on target or behind, to be able to access different types of learning that interests them. As well as accessing the learning that they are interested in, we want to show why different types of learning can be valuable to different people and break down different barriers where possible.
“Be unique but still feel like you belong?”
As well as taking away age barriers within learning, we also have the mission of wanting to promote and help children engage with the following message: Be unique but still feel like you belong. The explanation and logic behind this is the following:
- Everyone has their “things” that make them unique and makes them what they are. While everyone is unique, it doesn’t mean that certain things have to define them and it definitely doesn’t mean that there are things that should make them feel that they should be separate and excluded from everyone else
- It is still possible to feel like you belong even though you are unique. It is important to realise that, while we are all unique in our own way, there are many different things we have in common with different people, so it is important to learn and realise that we can like and enjoy different things with different people, belonging with different groups of people at different times
- It is important to accept that it is possible to evolve and change over time, which doesn’t mean disconnecting and losing interests and emotions from the past but simply means that, as we evolve, we are interested and want to explore/immerse ourselves in new interests
- There should be no reason why we can’t still enjoy things from the past without being able to explore new things and become immersed in something different
Why are there different Mygoh characters?
Each of the Mygoh characters has a different personality and interests, showing that anyone, no matter what they like, can have different activities & interests and do things in their own way. Within a school, it is likely that you have a mix of all of these characters, showing the varying demands and needs that you will be experiencing on a daily basis.

How can Mygoh benefit schools?
Mygoh is shaped by experience developed from spending time working in Education (in England and France, across primary, secondary and college levels). This experience means that products are designed to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children. They are also shaped by the understanding of the realities of the school setting and the varying demands that exist on a daily basis.
Mygoh is also shaped by personal experience and the motivation to create helpful products that has been a quest for more than 15 years. The books (in different guises) have been in development over this time and the approach has always been at the heart over this time, meaning that they have been tested and improved to make them what they are today.
Because of who we are, we have varied specialisms but valuable and practical experience in all of them. As a result, there is logical thinking and value in the approach we set out, the reasons behind the approach and the methodology in how to do it, making it as simple as possible for you to deliver so that you can continue to focus on wider responsibilities from day to day.
